Refund Policy
This part of the conditions explains the procedure that you must follow if you want to cancel your registration agreement or change your course. It is important that you read this section because if you fail to follow the proper procedure when cancelling your registration agreement or changing your course, you will still have to pay the full course fee.
In accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which replaced the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you may cancel your course and apply for a refund anytime within fourteen working days after your order is received. whether in hard copy or online. Online courses are only eligible for a refund if less than 15% of the course content has been consumed or downloaded. All requests for refunds within the 14-day period should be made in writing to our office.
If you have commenced your course study or submitted any work we are unable to refund any fees.
To apply for a refund of your course fees you must send a signed, written notice via recorded delivery to Steve Lashley, 12 Fratton Road, Portsmouth, PO4 9JJ.
SL Consultancy and Training Ltd (stevelashley.com) is not responsible for any changes in your personal circumstances. We will not be held liable for any unforeseen changes in your circumstances once you have enrolled and course materials have been accepted at the requested address. In these circumstances an extension may be offered allowing additional time for completion. Any requests to cancel on these grounds will be declined.
We will acknowledge your cancellation by email on receipt of your recorded delivery, no refunds will be issued unless we receive this notice and you meet the requirements above. If you do not receive written acknowledgement of your cancellation within 14 days of the date of your cancellation e-mail please call us at your earliest convenience.
The 14 day refund window starts from the day payment is received by our office. Your refund credit will appear on your card within 3 to 5 days of us activating the refund.
Monthly Payments, Subscription (Monthly / Annual)
No refunds are offered if students forget or didn’t realise, they were subscribed or on unused proportions of any given month. So if, for example, you are charged on the first day of the month or year and then decide to cancel your membership before the end of the month or year, no partial refunds on the unused days is available. You are however still able to have full access to the training resources until the end of your payment period.
If you are on the annual subscription plan, we recommend putting a reminder in your calendar a few days before the end of your first year – so you can decide if you want to continue as a member for another year. Once charged, no refunds.
Klarna Instalments:
Once we have cancelled the course and instigated the refund, outstanding payments will be cancelled by Klarna and you should receive confirmation from them. Any concerns you would need to speak to Klarna as your payment agreement was made by Klarna and yourself.
One to One Mentoring
Refunds will be given up until 24 hours before the appointment. No refunds are offered if you forget or didn’t realise that you have a scheduled appointment.
